Episode 118: Jaime Kaplan: The Pros and Cons of Technology

Today, Kathy is joined by Jaime Kaplan, Psy.D. and their topic is the pros and cons of technology’s role in connection with eating disorders recovery. As we know, disconnection plays a large role in eating disorders, and technology can help connect people, yet also disconnect us from others and from our own “true” selves.

Jaime Kaplan, Psy.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist and the Coordinator of Eating Disorder Services at Towson University’s Counseling Center, as well as an adjunct professor in the Department of Psychology.  She manages eating disorder and body positivity trainings, outreach, and clinical work across the campus.
