Today, Kathy welcomes Leigh-Ann Bamberg, MS, RDN, LDN, and their topic is the complimentary nature of health at every size and intuitive eating. Leigh-Ann describes how these go hand-in-hand and how ultimately how everyone can learn how to love, respect, and accept your body regardless of size and weight.
As a Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist (RDN) at Magnolia Creek, Leigh-Ann is responsible for evaluating clients for nutritional deficiencies and unhealthy food- and weight-related behaviors. She also provides nutritional therapy and education to promote recovery and restoration of health. Leigh-Ann graduated from The University of Mobile with a Bachelor of Science in Human Performance and Exercise Science with a concentration in Exercise Physiology. She then continued her education at The University of Alabama and earned both a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Food and Nutrition.
Leigh-Ann has recently spoken at the EDIN conference in Atlanta as well as a CE Event at Magnolia Creek on Intuitive Eating and Health at Every Size, two philosophies she whole-heartedly believes in for long-term recovery and wellness. She also recently co-presented at the SEED conference in Gulf Shores on Social Media and Eating Disorders.
