Sondra Kronberg, MS, RD, CDN, CEDRD-S, is the Founder/Executive Director of the Eating Disorder Treatment Collaborative/FEED IOP programs. Her main offices are located in Jericho in Nassau County, Hauppauge in Suffolk County and Manhattan, NY.
Sondra and the Eating Disorder Treatment Collaborative offers comprehensive outpatient psychotherapy and nutritional counseling services to women and men, adults, adolescents and children through a network of independent licensed affiliated professionals. Working together, we specialize in the treatment of anorexia, bulimia, binge eating, disordered eating, exercise obsession and body image dissatisfaction and we develop compassionate and eclectic individualized programs that simultaneously address emotional, behavioral and physiological needs. Since many eating disorder sufferers also struggle with anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive symptoms and post-traumatic stress, our programs are multifaceted and focus on these issues as well.
EDTC provides evaluations and consultations to sufferers and families to help determine the necessary level of care and appropriate treatment protocols. Individual and group therapy as well as several family based therapy programs are utilized in accordance with the needs of the individual. In an atmosphere of acceptance we promote growth and change.
The Director of Eating Disorder Treatment Collaborative, Sondra Kronberg, oversees all individualized treatment of the nutritionists and therapists. The Eating Disorder Treatment Collaborative philosophy emphasizes the uniqueness of each individual’s recovery. We coordinate services among our affiliated network of licensed psychotherapists and nutritionists who are experts in treating eating disorders and experienced in other mental health issues. * Every aspect of treatment is a collaborative effort between team members whose primary goal is to meet the needs of the patient while promoting wellness and fostering recovery.
* Services provided through a network of independent licensed professionals.
