Erin Snell, LCSW, MBA, holds an LCSW in both Nevada and Texas and has been in the field for 20 years. Her career in mental health started with a B.S. in Psychology from Biola University in Los Angeles, CA. She earned her MSSW degree from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2004 and her MBA from Texas Christian University in 2009.
Erin recently re-joined the dynamic team at Center for Hope of the Sierras as the Business Development Director. Erin’s professional career is focused on combining the clinical skills and knowledge in the field of Mental Health with the business mindset necessary to understand broader systems and how they impact those both working in and being treated in the Mental Health industry. She has a background in both the non-profit and the for-profit industries.
Erin’s favorite thing about being a Social Worker is working with interns and students. She has experience in the following areas: children, adolescents and their families, eating disorders, traumatic brain injuries, and PTSD/trauma.
Her other special interests include horseback riding, snowboarding and spending time with her husband and daughter as often as she can. They have been residents of Nevada since 2010 and love the High Sierra Mountains and the outdoor lifestyle that Reno has to offer.
